Philly so far...

Wednesday afternoon I landed, checked into the hotel, studied, and got dinner. Not too exciting.

Thursday I took my family medicine exam - which I passed with an 82 (above the class average thank you very much). My dad landed and headed out to the hotel. In the mean time I got all dressed up and ready for the fancy graduate dinner dance. It was fancier than anything I've been to in the past. Way fancy. I was excited for the expensive food... but you know, it was like, way too fancy that it was barely good anymore. And I still stick to my belief that crab cakes just taste like fancy tuna. Here's me all dressed up with Kendra, my roomate from when I actually lived full time in Philly.

When I got back to the hotel, I went to Denny's with my dad really late 'cuz he hadn't had dinner... I got pie. :)

Friday I got up in the morning, and got ready to go. We took the bus down to the Kimmel Center - where commencement was. We had some pastry type stuff for breakfast and took a class pictue before commencement. Then we had to waste another hour and a half. I don't entertain myself well. I got bored. Then commencement. So, I walked graduation... got a blank piece of paper all rolled up to symbolize a diploma. Got my hood (the thing they hang around your neck to show what level of education you completed). But... I'm not actually done with school yet - 6 weeks to go. THEN I'll get my real diploma. Here's a picture of me in my cap and gown.

Then dad and I got some hot dogs and soda and went to catch the bus pack to the hotel. Then it went from hot and humid... to torrential downpour while we were waiting for the bus. We got wet. Turns out the expressway was all backed up so things got very behind. Then we went to Denny's agian for early supper. Then my dad headed out. Now more studying for the weekend. Yay.
