Girls can work too!!!

So, I got a temporary job (like 5 weeks) with UPS helping deliver packages. Well, I need dark brown or black work boots. Not a problem I didn't think. Until I went looking for some. I wear a 7 1/2 women's shoe. They don't exist. Most stores only carry them in mens. And the smallest men's size they carry is a men's 8. I wear probably a men's 5 1/2. I was even told by the man in the shoe department at Sears that they shouldn't have hired me because if I don't fit into men's workboots I'm obviously too small to do the job. He showed me some wussy women's boots, I told him they wern't good enough. He told me of course they are, what do I want? A steel toe? I said maybe. He said there was no way I should want a steel toed boot, I'm a girl.

My mom called and I told her I couldn't find boots. She told me to go to Fleet Farm. Why didn't I think of that? I found a woman in the shoe department that helped me pick out work boots. Now I have brown work boots. In a woman's size. Yay.
