MICHAEL PHELPS IS MY HERO.
8 Golds and 8 World Records in one Olympics. Will it ever be matched? Will it take 36 more years (9 summer olympic games)??? I guess only time will tell... for now it's Michael Phelps...

The crazy thing is that in 36 years I will be 62 years old. Wow. 32 years ago I was negative approximately 9 years from being concieved. Weird thought.

My (first) COUSIN (once removed) the Olympian!

So, I have a cousin who is an olympian! Actually, she's my mom's cousin's daughter.. which makes her my first cousin once removed... but once when we were in elementry school, we caught frogs in her yard. And their gerbils died after we put them in the fisher price merry go round. Oops. Anyway... click here to check out her olympic bio on the NBC website. Considering she's a wrestler... that probably won't make the NBC broadcasts... but I'm related to an olympian none-the-less. I also found this which has a link to actually watch her wrestle live on the internet. That's my somewhat exciting information of the day. :)
